For the past 16 years I have run Affordable Lofts & Extensions Oxford working in Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. With a competitive and demanding market, we work hard to ensure that our customer service and the quality of our craftmanship is of the highest quality, whilst keeping our pricing transparent and honest for our clients.

My favourite part of the job is at chatting to the clients at the end of their project and hearing how happy they are with the craftmanship and our friendly team! I love working on the tools, always improving my skills and sometimes finding discovering new methods. Our clients are always happily surprised when they see it moving on so quickly!

Emma Thatcher

With many years of experience working in a Managerial role, Emma is the first point of contact for all new enquiries, completing all administrative work, marketing and any order queries.

We work as a team on all jobs and by keeping on top of things we find we are still able to find that precious time to play with our children!

Matt Hooker

Having worked as bricklayer for many years Matt has a wealth of knowledge working on sites and his speed at laying is incomparable.  Since joining our team Matt has learnt a huge number of skills and is  competent in all areas of building. In 2023, Matt became a fully qualified carpenter. He is friendly and approachable and can offer advice or help when needed to our customers. His energy and eagerness to complete a good days work brings an essential drive to the team.

Jack Ireson

Jack joined the team as our Carpentry Apprentice in 2021, he became a fully qualified carpenter in 2023.  He’s taken his first steps into the trade and we are proud to be able to guide him through and teach him essential skills.

Precision Heating (Plumbing and Heating Engineers)

Precision Heating are our plumbing team, we have worked with them for many years and they always offer a reliable, professional and friendly service. Nothing is too much trouble and they work day and night to ensure your job is completed to their own high standards of work.  They have a huge amount of experience and knowledge to offer advice and carry out your work, always ensuring you receive the correct certification at the end.

Steve Slater (Electrician)

We have used Steve as our electrician since we began all the way back in 2008.  Steve offers a high quality service ensuring your electrical work meets current regulations and receives all the correct certification at the end.  He offers a wealth of knowledge and experience and is always happy to offer advice. His friendly attitude and reliability make him our go to electrician for all our jobs however big or small.
